Dua
Dua Lipa, aka Dua English singer and songwriter who was born on August 22 1995 in London United Kingdom. After a stint as a fashion model and songwriter, she decided to sign with Warner Bros Records and release her debut album "Dua Lipa" in the year 2017. The album reached third place on the U.K. Albums Chart and was followed by eight singles which included Be the One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. Number One track New Rules which peaked at sixth within the United States. Lipa has won Brit Awards in 2018 in category of British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act. In addition, her platinum album has been praised in multiple countries. Dua Lipa was conceived at the age of 18 in London with Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). She is of Bosnian origin through her mother's grandmother. You can also trace Lipa's ancestral roots through Peja within Kosovo. The grandparents of Lipa were both historians. Gjin along with Rina are her siblings. Lipa began to learn how to play guitar as well as sing under the guidance of her father Oda. He is the singer/guitarist who leads Kosovan's rock group Oda. The band was heavily influenced by their father's music, which included his original compositions, as well as songs such David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa was just five years old when she started singing. It was the Sylvia Young Theater School was where she started singing at the age of nine.
