Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy, also known as Anne Frances Murphy, was born in the year 1986. Her nationality is Canadian but she has a job in Hollywood. Her most well-known work is playing the character Alexis Rose in the CBC comedy series Schitt's Valley that started in 2015 and ended in 2020. Her performance earned her high praise from critics and was also awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. She is the daughter of two school teachers. Elmwood School, Ottawa is where she began performing in theatrical productions. Next, she decided to attend Concordia University and pursue a theatre performance degree. Following that, she began acting classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles at the age of 22, where she began acting as a career. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 by appearing on the tv crime thriller film Lethal Obsession. She continued her acting career as she played minor, supplementary parts in a variety of films. Some of these films are extremely popular for their time, like Story of Jen released in 2008 Lick in the year 2010, and A Windigo Tale released the following year. Additionally she appeared in Canadian TV shows like Good God' aired in 2012 Rookie Blue which was aired during the same time. She seems to be adept at taking on various acting roles. In the beginning of her career Annie was an actress who struggled who had difficulty striving to demonstrate herself and her skills to get notoriety.
